I have always loved working with kids and plan to start teaching in August. I love working out, doing crafts, and reading books. My family and I frequent Hacienda, and coffee has become my best friend this year
I look forward to seeing everyone this summer!

Hey Krakens!
My name is Megan Knicely and I am super thrilled to return as one of your Head Coaches this season. I’ve been a part of the Kraken family since the beginning in 2014, where I swam on the team for 8 years and have been coaching for the past 8 years. I’ve made many amazing memories and I hope that I can help new and returning swimmers do the same.
I am a graduate of the University of North Texas (Go Mean Green!) where I majored in Kinesiology Allied-Health. During my spring semester I am spending time at Walt Disney World with the Disney College Program, working in attractions.
Back in high school I swam for the Tompkins Varsity Swim Team all four years as well as swam for club teams for 7 years. During my free time I enjoy reading, scuba diving, dancing, coffee trips with friends and having movie nights with my family. My favorite snacks include white cheddar popcorn, a Starbucks Pink Drink, and salt and vinegar chips! My previous years of coaching for the Krakens has provided me with experiences that I believe I can use to help you all achieve your goals and have fun too! I look forward to seeing all the returning and newswimmers and parents. Get ready for an exciting season :)
